Review by Brien Shanahan

The album Symphonie Nr 7 9 Op Posth by Schubert, performed by the Berliner Philharmoniker under the baton of Karl Böhm, is a stunning rendition of the composer's final symphony. The orchestra's performance is both precise and fluid, capturing the emotional depth and nuance of Schubert's music.

Böhm's interpretation of the symphony is masterful, highlighting the contrasts between the work's lighter and darker moments. The orchestra's use of dynamics is particularly impressive, creating a sense of tension and release that keeps the listener engaged throughout the entire piece.

The album's recording quality is excellent, with each instrument and section of the orchestra clearly defined and balanced. The sound is rich and full, bringing out the full range of Schubert's orchestration.
