Review by NABVETS Gaston

Genaside II's album New Life 4 The Hunted Sampler is a thrilling and intense journey through the world of breakbeat and jungle music. The album features a range of high-energy tracks, each with its unique style and sound.

The opening track, "The Genaside Will Not Be Televised," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its heavy bassline and frenzied drum beats. As the album progresses, tracks like "Death of the Kamikaze" and "Flesh Wound" showcase the group's ability to seamlessly blend different genres and create a sound that is both chaotic and cohesive.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Narra Mine," which features a haunting vocal sample and a driving beat that builds to a frenetic climax. The album closes with "Sirens of Acre Lane," a track that is both haunting and beautiful, with its ethereal vocals and atmospheric soundscapes.

Despite the massive and instantaneous success, Genaside II couldn't capitalize on the established publicity and went on a hiatus for several years due to personal conflicts within the crew, without any new material released for the next four years.
