Review by Sobri Mansor

Dylan Thomas is an iconic figure in the world of poetry, and his work has been celebrated for decades. His album, Reading His Complete Recorded Poetry, is a must-have for any fan of his work. The album features Thomas himself reading his most famous works, including "Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night" and "Fern Hill."

The album is a treasure trove of Thomas's poetic genius, and it is evident that he was a master of his craft. His voice is soothing and melodic, and it's easy to get lost in the beauty of his words. The album is a perfect representation of his work, and it's clear that he poured his heart and soul into every piece.

The production quality of the album is excellent, and the sound quality is clear and crisp. It's easy to hear every word, and the recordings have been preserved beautifully. The album is a testament to the enduring legacy of Dylan Thomas and his contribution to the world of poetry.

Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night
Dylan Thomas - 1914-1953

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I have always loved this poem since we studied Dylan Thomas in English Literature at school. This is the first time I have heard it read by the man himself. He had a wonderful voice.

Does it mean: Live a life of awe, adventure, risk and wonder even at any age? Boldy go...? Regardless if you are 100 years old or not...? That is one of the precious messages of William Shatner, too.
